centaurea x TipiLAN 2026

11-13 September 2026 · TalTech, Tallinn

my first ever osu! LAN :3

centaurea brought osu! to TipiLAN 2026 with an offline 1v1 osu!standard
tournament, and I got to be part of the staff team for it.

I ended up refereeing literally every match played at the LAN, while also helping with the stream/commentary, bug reporting, testing the ranked arcade setup and providing some hardware for the setups.

what i did

referee - every match at the LAN
stream / commentary
bug reporting
ranked arcade setup testing
provided hardware for the tournament setups

the LAN

This was my first time actually attending an osu! LAN instead of doing
everything online from home.

Having the players, refs, commentators and setups all in the same place felt completely different from the tournaments I'm used to staffing through Discord.

I also finally got to meet a bunch of people from the Estonian osu! community irl, including people I'd known online for quite a while.

broadcast

A few of the matches were streamed on osueestis:

EvilGamings vs The Hassle
kellad vs The Hassle
Abyssal vs EvilGamings

thanks

huge thanks to kris for making the whole thing happen and for letting me be part of the staff team.

also huge thanks to MEGAHELLO for helping out with tournament stuff, sharing his experience, and helping make everything actually work during the event.

and of course thanks to everyone else who helped with commentary, pooling, logistics, hardware and everything else needed to make the osu! area happen.

also thanks to everyone who showed up, played, watched, or just hung around the centaurea area during the weekend <3

overall

first LAN.
reffed literally all the matches.
somehow survived.

would absolutely do it again.
